Divine Intervention started back in 1995 when our founder, Kathleen Chrissis, discovered she had the ability to help people with the shuffle of her Tarot deck.
It was a warm spring day when she was walking down the street in her home town of Nashua, NH. She walked into a small Wiccan shop in the heart of the downtown shopping district. A man standing behind the counter smiled at her and told her she had a wonderful gift. He handed her a deck of Tarot cards. Intrigued, she left the store after purchasing the deck, went home and began reading the cards.
Later she began reading for her friends just for fun. She thought nothing of it, it was just a deck of cards. After a while her friends were telling her the events she had predicted were coming true. They wanted more readings to see what else she could uncover. Believing it was a fluke Kathleen began reading for strangers to test her skills. She began to realize with each new reading that she was able to find things about about these complete strangers that no one could have known. She gave her predictions and believed she would never see these strangers again. Because of her ability and her amazing accuracy people began referring her to their friends. Word of mouth had friends and acquaintances contacting Kathleen to get a reading. People were coming to her for help with work and relationship troubles looking for answers and for help. She realized she was able to help these people find the answers they were seeking with her Tarot Deck. The man behind the counter was right, she had a gift, a wonderful gift.
With her desire to help people she founded Divine Intervention so she could reach more people with a network of other gifted readers as well as Mediums and Clairvoyants.
Aside from her gift of reading Tarot, Kathleen is a practicing Wiccan, studying to become an Elder. She resides in Salem, Mass.
